Dark Sky Wall Lights; minimzing light pollution
I have used the Dark Sky Wall Lights for nearly 30 years. I am a strong believer that all night lights point downward to minimize light pollution and provide a bright light to see where your feet are going and what they are stepping on. I was a bit surprised at their light weight; they look much heavier than they are. i had to throw one whole unit away when it's light failed; that era of lighting was sold as a single unit and it wasn't possible to change the bulb. I like the new ones better as they have removable LED bulbs that can be changed when they burn out. The bulb is slightly longer and thinner. Make sure the buyer finds the proper size so the light DOES NOT hang below the bottom of the unit.

Beautiful light fixture
We couldn't be happier with these new outdoor lights. They are even prettier in person. The size is great for our needs and they look great with our siding. I would definitely recommend these to a friend. So happy I found them!

happy with our new fixture
Very happy with the look of the fixture, which replaced a bare light bulb. It appears to be craftsman-style hammered iron but is light weight aluminum (good for mounting but could bend if abused). It did not quite mount flush (I will get my contractor brother to check out but it's in a dry spot so not too worried). The only caveat: it would look best beside a door where you can admire the top of shade rather than over the door where we had to locate it and as such the view is mostly the underside. I used a tiny (A15 size) LED bulb so that the view is not just of the light bulb.

Garage lights
These lights look great on the front of the garage. Give off plenty of light but it keeps it pointed down and not in your eyes as you drive up.

Perfect
Great little light fixture for our back door. We did not want something to shine into our neighbor's yard, so we chose this. It has personality and does the job, but doesn't light up the sky or both our neighbors.

Almost perfect
The lamp shade looks good, but it is just short enough that the bulb sticks out from the bottom. At night time, that's quite a bit of glare right into the eyes!
We are actually using shorter than normal bubs but the problem still is there. It would have been so easy for the manufacturer to make it just half-inch deeper.

My porch Light
I was happy ?? when it arrived and saw that it was made well, and it was as nice as it looked in the picture on line. My son installed it and had no difficulty with that except he had to get some longer screws because I recently had new siding put on my house and the screws were too short. It looks great on my house.
