Are the drawer slides on the side or bottom of drawer?

BEST ANSWER: Hi - Per the manufacturer, the slides are located on the bottom of the drawer.
Is the painted finish solid or distressed? Cannot tell because of the resolution of the image shown. Also, are the areas where MDF (fiberboard) was used sealed by paint, or can you see the fiberboard (inside drawers?). Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: The painted finish is one solid color. The inside of the drawers have a the same color finish as on the outside along with a brown wood finish.
