BEST ANSWER: This sconce uses one maximum 60 watt standard-medium base A15 size bulb. You may use an LED bulb with a higher incandescent equivalency if more light is needed.

We had these installed in our house as it was being built so we didn't do it ourselves. One of the globes was broken during shipping. Lamps Plus was WONDERFUL about replacing it quickly and for free. They look great in our vaulted living room.

These lamps light up my home
I have one sconce installed on both ends of a stairway up against a wall. They provide wonderful light and look very attractive. I don't have anything negative to say about them.
