There is no harp in my stiffel lamp. Spider just threads on brass stem. Will it work?

However, if you want to use this shade specifically, you can purchase a bulb clip which can be found at many local home improvements stores or online on lamp parts sites. The bulb clip fits over the bulb and has a post with finial to fit spider fitted lamp shades.
