Charming style and dusk-to-dawn motion sensor options that stay on at low brightness all night add to this appealing barn-inspired outdoor wall light.
Additional Info:
Inspired by classic Mission styles, this outdoor wall light fixture will add a traditional barn light look to your porch or patio. It comes in a crisp white finish over a steel frame, and has a round clear seeded glass shade that protects the bulb. Best of all, this design is outfitted with both a motion sensor and a dusk-to-dawn photocell sensor, giving you an extra sense of security. Dual-bright design means the light turns on at 25% brightness and goes to 100% when motion is detected. Two minutes after motion is no longer detected, the light will revert to low-level brightness.
- 9" high x 8 1/2" wide. Extends 11" from the wall. Round backplate is 4 3/4" wide. Weighs 2.49 lbs.
- Uses one maximum 60 watt standard-medium base dimmable A15 bulb (incandescent or LED). Bulb not included.
- Oberlin outdoor wall light with gooseneck arm by John Timberland®.
- White finish over steel construction. Clear seeded glass shade.
- Turns on at dusk to 25% brightness, then goes to full bright when motion is detected. Motion sensor has a 220-degree and 10-40 feet range.
- Manual Override allows light to be on for an 8 hour time frame.

Wonderful light
What a wonderful light! Nice mix of modern/traditional style. The dusk and dimming feature worked easily. The directions were minimal, but installation was straight forward.

Quality doesn't match the price
This was my first experience with Lamps Plus and I was disappointed with the quality of the light that I received. I unfortunately didn't have time to deal with an exchange or return because I had an electrician scheduled and it's difficult to get him out to my home so I had him install it as is. It had a dent in it and when sitting flat on the counter the rim wasn't even straight all the way around. I expected much higher quality for a light that costs about $100.
I'm still giving a three-star review because the features of the light are unique and exactly what I was looking for. I did some research at some of the big box stores and couldn't find this combination of features on a fairly attractive outdoor light.
With respect to the review about the LED light, even if the spacing around the glass allowed for the LED bulb, it possibly wouldn't work because this is basically a light that dims. I actually was able to fit an LED bulb into the lamp but when I turned it on it was flickering oddly. My electrician immediately knew that I had an LED bulb and told me that essentially this is a dimming lamp because it normally operates at 25% power and then when the sensor is triggered it jumps to 100% power. As soon as I put a regular bulb in, it worked fine. I believe there are some LED bulbs that can work with dimmer lights but I'm not sure that they are as commonly available or affordable (or can fit in a tight light fixture) as those that can't. Just a heads up.

You will LOVE these light!
These are amazing and high quality outdoor lights. They’re exactly what I was looking for: a low level of light when dusk falls so you have “some” light until dawn. Then the sensor kicks in when it senses movement. They look fantastic and my handyman says there the best quality light he’s seen, has suggested them to other clients of his.

Can’t use regular bulb with this.
Not sure what was up this, but after we got it all wired and in place, we tried adding an LED bulb, and due to the fact the decorative metal comes out further than the actual socket, you cannot use an LED bulb on this. Even a old fashioned 60w bulb works, but the cover didn’t fit then. We ended up having to use an appliance bulb. But this is a Dawn/dusk light. I WANT the energy savings of LED. Poorly designed/engineered. Can’t recommend.
