BEST ANSWER: Our products are designed for use on the North American 110-volt system only. But, you may check with a qualified electrician for your conversion to 240v.
What is the diameter of the cord? It needs to fit a quarter inch hole.

BEST ANSWER: Hello- No, this fixture is suspended by a cable, so there is no stem to extend. But it does come with a 15-foot cord.
Where is the in-line on/off switch positioned -- e.g., how far from the plug end of the cord? Thanks!

BEST ANSWER: Hi - the in-line on-off switch is located 12" from the end of the plug.
I have a a ceiling mount wherein 1 cord comes out of the ceiling and splits off to 2 cords which go rt and left in a chain and down to hold two pendant lights on each side of a vanity. Will this light work like that?

BEST ANSWER: It should work, as each light assy comes with plenty of cord. Just be sure that each end will have a anchor secured strong enough in the ceiling to hold the weight of the lights. Each light would be hard wired into the single box. Hope this helps...even a little.
Does this come with the hook for the ceiling and the wall?

BEST ANSWER: It does not come with hooks that go into the wall and ceiling, but has plastic S hooks that you wrap the cable through and have a hole for your wall hook to hang it on.

BEST ANSWER: Hi - this uses a 100 watt maximum standard medium base bulb. You could use an incandescent, CFL, or LED bulb with this design.
does this light also come in hard wire version?

BEST ANSWER: Sorry, not aware of this option. However, the flexible wire was long enough to allow me to make a graceful loop, cut it to length and splice it into the ceiling junction box.Even hung some decorations on the loop.

This item is simply wonderful! I hung it in my bathroom to give it more light for wife and daughter and they love the very bright light it gives off when they are making themselves up. It was very simple to install(15 minutes.
