Can you use 3 way bulb?

BEST ANSWER: This table lamp does not include a 3-way socket. This includes an on/off socket switch. But, try adding a table top dimmer to provide that versatility you may be looking for.

If I use an LED bulb, the lamp for this says to use standard base bulb. Do they make LEDs with a standard base bulb?

Are these lamps a real antique brass or a painted metal?. Bought 2 lamps back a month or so and they are very cheap looking.

BEST ANSWER: They're painted metal I believe. I bought mine through this site, but they're also available on Amazon, and you can find dozens of reviews and photos of them there and get a better idea of how they're like. Personally, I like mine. They work just fine. But let's face it, they aren't expensive lamps, but for the price, they look decent.

These lamps were packed very securely and were easy to put together.

A handsome addition to my Living Room
When I first saw the lamps I thought that there had to be some sort of mistake regarding the low price for the pair. They are beautiful, and very well made. At the price that they are being offered, you can't lose. This was a great purchase!

Very disappointed
Received the lamps today. They are very light and not what I expected. Made cheap, look cheap - from top to bottom, including transparent wires! Now I have to pack them again (which is not easy) and bring to a store for return - what a waste of time! I wish the reviews were more realistic.
