BEST ANSWER: Previous answers are correct, they are not dimmable as they come, and as the light bulb uses the same power source as the USB supply, a dimmer would interfere with the power needed to charge devices, and might have a negative effect on them.
Is this a touch lamp? Or does it have a twist or cord to turn on/off?

Perfect for small space
These two lamps are exactly what I was looking for. Don't take up a lot of space, and have very clean lines. Arrived on time; packaged very well; easy to assemble. They give a good clean light. Extra points for the USB port in each base and the just right price!

A blend of classic and contemporary with USB port
I wanted simple yet elegant, quality and usefulness. I got it all. Add the paisley lamp shades I got from Lamps Plus and not one person has entered the room without immediately commenting about the lamps. Then I point out that each base has a USB port and that generates the questions "where did you get them". So I got exactly what I wanted in their usefulness with the addition of endless compliments. Who can ask for more. I recommend these lamps without reservation.
