BEST ANSWER: There is a switch on the lamp itself to turn the lamp on and off. I hope that is your question. I've never heard it described as "touch" to turn and off, I love the lamps... very clean and modern.

Love the Wall Lamps
They look wonderful on each side of my bed. I put them on a remote control and I don’t have to get out of bed to turn them off.

Pretty but tough to install level?
Having a tough time installing these so that they don't slide around on the wall. I'm going to try longer and then smaller screws to see if this fixes the issue but as of now, any time I touch the lights (like to turn them on) they slip and sit crooked on the wall. I love how they look tho!
