Is the glow from the bulb only visible through the upper portion of the glass shade? Is the shade removable for cleaning?

BEST ANSWER: The top of the sconce is the part most illuminated. You can clean the light with a duster.

Using three with two bathroom mirrors, do these light up the countertop enough? ...or would you recommend additional overhead down-lighting?

BEST ANSWER: If you are using three fixtures, you can have up to 100 watts of output per fixture which is a nice amount of lighting. However, we always suggest having more than one light source in a room. Therefore, some overhead lighting or recessed lighting will give you more options especially if you choose to add dimmers to your fixtures.

Great product, great price, but one prob
I purchased two of these sconces to go in a small alcove area in my bedroom. They absolutely look great and the cost was very good. Only issue was that one of the sconces was missing an installation nut. I'm guessing I could have contacted LampsPlus and got the part but it was just easier to run out and get one. Overall, very happy and if it wasn't for the missing part I would have given these 5 stars.

I've ordered THREE of them!
These lights are beautiful. We ordered 3 of them for out bathroom. Could not be happier.
CONS: Have to really look at the brushed steel base for nicks and smudges. LP has been great about replacing them!
