BEST ANSWER: The reason I bought it is because it DOES NOT use LED lights, which are just dreadful. It uses a special bulb, T10, in either 40 watt or 60 watt, but they are readily available and not really expensive. This lamp makes practice time so much more enjoyable
Will this piano lamp clamp fit over a door, and is it a plug-in?

I would purchase piano lamp with battery or other mode of power besides electricity. Do you have anything like this?

Does this lamp have any adjustable features? It sits too low on the top of the piano music rest to turn the music easily.
It would be nice if it could be raised-up a few inches.

BEST ANSWER: Hi - this design does not extend beyond the 8 1/2-inches as listed. The gooseneck arm does adjust, but not beyond the measurement listed. A design with a longer arm might give you more flexibility. See the attached design, or call us for more suggestions.

piano light
this is perfect for the grand piano, however, the screws to install did not have the capability for my book rack, and the lightbulb was a little difficult to change.

Pros: Great Illumination, Quality Construction, Attractive Design

Exactly as advertised. Extremely well made. No issue with having enough room for music. So much better than battery operated ones. Bulb is a tad difficult to get in, but not overly so. If you want a great light for your baby grand, this is it.
Plenty of room for music.
Excellent lighting.
