Does this wall sconce come with chrome or black accents instead of the brushed nickel accents?

With a sconce on either side of the bed near where each persons head would be! Would you have adequate light for reading?

BEST ANSWER: I love these sconces but I put them in the hallway. Plenty of light for that purpose. They seem large for your purpose unless you have a very large MBR
Can this light be wired as a plug in?

BEST ANSWER: Hi - this is designed for direct wire and we do not offer any conversion kits to change it into a plug-in lamp. But, you may check with a qualified electrician for your conversion options.
Does the glass allow for good lighting in a room, or does it just directionally light upward?

BEST ANSWER: We feel it does a fairly good job in a bedroom with two lights ... one on either side of our bed. It obviously does a fair bit of upward lighting, but does a good job of projecting light outward. We also put our lights on a dimmer using warm white leds.

This Art Glass is an excellent sconce
We have two mounted in the entrance way on columns and they provide soft general lighting. The globe light is fairly even over the surface of the lamp. Also it takes a regular small wattage bulb for a great effect.

Pros: Contemporary and perfect, Attractive Design, Great Value, Great Illumination, Quality Construction, Easy To Install

Just the right touch
This looks great in our narrow hallway and adds an artistic ambiance. The construction looks better in person than it does in the picture. We bought the one with black markings.. It gives off a good amount of light . D.

Attractive and Artsy
Very attractive wall sconce. We hung it in a stairway and it sets the tone beautifully for the transition into our updated, mod basement. I could see using several of these sconces in a larger room. Nice quality.

Perfect Choice!
Installed two in a small contemporary bathroom for general lighting. Absolutely perfect! Just the right size to make a statement and shed great light without demanding too much attention. Highly recommend!

Looks almost brown, not black
This works out great for a staircase. On the picture it looks black, but actually looks more darkish brown/black. Fits a tranistional design, though would go with modern, contemporary, or would add a flash of flair to traditional.

Pros: Easy To Install, Quality Construction, Attractive Design

Cons: Color not true

Better than I expected!
We have 2 similar sconces on our stair wall and wanted the same look on our new build. After scouring websites for something similar I came upon these and ordered 4. Although they have not yet been installed, I am happy to report that they look even better than what we currently have. They are bigger, feel more solid and overall just look better.
