Does the on/off switch go from low to high or is it straight 60watt when you turn it on?

BEST ANSWER: The shade can be tilted easily, but I wouldn’t call it a swivel. The lamp does swivel on a horizontal plane with its arms, and adjusts up and down. It is a great reading light.
In the advertising flyer the Jenson Floor Lamp was also shown in Bronze; but online that option is no longer listed. Can I still get it in bronze?

Is the lamp pole one piece or do you have to screw in a couple of pole sections to assemble. I have found lamp poles that have to be assembled are not as stable and am looking for one with the lamp pole already together?

BEST ANSWER: This floor lamp will arrive in several pieces and requires full assembly. But the design makes it very sturdy if put together properly.

This was easy to put together and looks fine. My only gripe is that it doesn't take a 100 watt bulb. What is it with these manufacturers with the little bulbs that won't give enough light? Every lamp I like takes puny 60 watt bulbs. What would it take to make it compatible for a brighter bulb?

If you'd like a brighter light output, you can do so by using an LED bulb with a higher watt equivalency, for example Style #56k99. This bulb has a light output equivalent to 100 watts. Lamp exceeds expactation, that I bought two
high quality, sturdy, heavy base, cord comes out bottom of base, which makes it perfect. Lamp is adjustable and swings in any direction, even ambiance on a picture. Bulb base is standard, so you can put any led bulb in socket. Have one to point on treddle seeing machine, and second to match on other side of couch for reading, or ambience, lighting up ceiling beams.

Shade not well secured to the lamp.
The lamp lasted 2 weeks. My son’s arm hit the lamp shade while he was stretching and the shade came loose.
