Is the lamp shade a rounded square shape vs perfectly round?

BEST ANSWER: Hi there! I LOVE this lamp! I actually bought 2, for the top of my dining room buffet table. The shade is as shown. It's not square, it's round, but not perfectly round like a drum shade. In a couple of the photos they show here it's a misleading, because the shade looks square-ish, but what I received is not that. It's definitely round, but the diameter of the top of the shade is a bit smaller than the bottom. I hope this info helps :-)

Regarding your question - I will say, yes. If you have large side table and massive charis, it would work (esthetically and functionally). If not, it is too tall. I have on console table in the hall way and it look fantastic!

Julia lamps are so lovely
I just bought 2 of these lamps for the master bedroom , to place on our dresser top . They look so elegant, and cast a lovely soft glow when turned on. I'm very, very pleased with them , for such a good price. they're very well crafted, have a heavy base, and just a very lovely profile. I'm very pleased with these lamps

Very pretty!
After seeing something similar in a designer's portfolio, I ordered a pair of these to try in my dining room. They are lovely...the crystal detail and the antique brass color are perfect. The base feels sturdy and heavy. Very versatile, too...I could easily see these working in an entry hall or bedroom, as well.

The only negative (in my opinion) is the shade...to me, it looks inexpensive. It is a very bright white. I will likely eventually replace them with something else, but these work for now.

Overall, though, no complaints, especially considering the overall price of the lamp.

Also, terrific customer service...one of the shades arrived with a dent, and after I called Lamps Plus, they quickly sent a new one.

Lovely
Two of these look great on my antique dining room buffet. I mix contemporary and traditional furniture and they fit in beautifully. I gave four stars because on one of them the finial does not fit correctly and keeps spinning around as if it was stripped. I will call to see if I can get a replacement finial.

Very pretty lamp.
