BEST ANSWER: The manufacturer only makes the fixture in two finishes; brushed nickel and oil rubbed bronze.

Do vintage style bulbs put out enough light for bathrooms?

BEST ANSWER: Yes. You can get 60w vintage bulbs and even LED ones. I did use this sconce in a small bathroom and while it wasn't really bright it was light enough. Two might be better tho in a bigger bathroom
Can this be mounted facing upward?

BEST ANSWER: I don't think so. The glass isn't that secure.
Is the light LED compatible? Can it be dimmed?

BEST ANSWER: Yes the light is LED compatible. Most lights are LED compatible. The ability to dim the bulb would depend on the LED bulb you purchase. Some can be dimmed, many can't be.

one was constructed poorly making it look bad
I bought two. one had a slightly bad weld. the two arms that secure the globe to the fixture. one of the arms was welded a bit out of whack. this causes the globe to not sit perfectly plumb, which causes the bulb to sit very closely to the globe on one side. it's pretty noticeable and not the sort of quality I expect for the price.
