BEST ANSWER: Under the shade at the top of the base. It's a nice lamp but the shade has a slight sheer that I don't like personally.

beautiful lamp
This lamp is simple but elegant. It takes a 150 watt bulb which I need because of my poor eyesight. It is not a three way which is good because I find that the three way part usually fails after a while. Well worth the money.

Excellent buy
They don't seem cheap or poorly made at all. Really happy with them. Actually, the shade is probably something I will change out at some point. It has a sheen to it that isn't really a style I like, but overall it's an excellent lamp.

Shiny creamy shades. White blue tone stand it’s okay
