BEST ANSWER: It would depend on the light bulb that you use. My first thought is that it would not make a good light fixture for the kitchen if that is the only light. We use it for a hallway light.
I intend on putting these in a family room that is approximately 28 feet long. There are three lights in a row in the ceiling. What are your thoughts on how these will look in that room?

BEST ANSWER: These lights are pretty close to the ceiling so space them out along the 28 feet to get the best lighting around the room. If you use bright LED lights it should work well. Do not use ordinary soft white bulbs because you won't have enough light.
Once installed, is easy to remove the globe and clean it? I hate looking up and seeing a dead moth in the globe

BEST ANSWER: The glass shade on this ceiling light by unscrewing the screws at the top of the frame. The bottom frame and glass will then be removable. Detailed instructions are included with the fixture.

BEST ANSWER: Hi - This is not damp rated. But if you still intend to use it in your bathroom, it is highly recommended to have good ventilation.

I know this says bronze but does it look black in color?

BEST ANSWER: The color of this light is a very dark brown matte finish. It is not black and has a very small amount of metallic on the edges. In have s mix of black and oil rubbed bro ze and they go nice together. I have also spray painted some of miy lights with oil rubbed bronze spray can.

BEST ANSWER: Hi - this uses two maximum 60 watt standard medium base bulbs (not included). With the clear glass and 120 watts of combined wattage, this should be enough light for most areas. But, you may also use LED A19 bulbs with incandescent equivalency ratings of 75 watts to maximize your light.

BEST ANSWER: This fixture is not specifically damp location rated. However, if the area is well ventilated with no buildup of steam or condensation, and if it is not installed over tubs or adjacent to showers, it should be fine.

We bought this fixture for the entry way of our new home. Installation was very simple; it took my wife and our 10 year-old only 15 minutes after I removed the old fixture and prepped the wires. Looks great and the bubbly see-through bowl (not sure if it’s glass or plastic) is visually appealing. Great light, good price. In the future, we might replace the light bulbs (not included with the fixture) for some that provide a whiter light.

Great looking fixture, extremely hard to install
A very beautiful semi flush light fixture, but extremely hard to install, thank god for led lights and maybe never have to change a bulb. The entire fixture has to be assembled to attach any of it to the ceiling. Try putting your hand inbetween the glass and ceiling to attache the canopy! Why did they put the three arms attaching to the top where you cannot get a screwdriver in to tighten. It looks real good, but be ready for a double dose of frustrating installation.

Very pretty light
This fixture is great looking on the picture but better when it is up. It gives off enough light for a small hallway and would work really well in a larger hallway that requires more than one light fixture. The brass and seedy glass makes it look really expensive.

I love the light, BUT it is hard to install because it must be "totally assembled" before installation
The light, with clear seedy glass globe is very stunning and gives a lot of light with the clear LED bulbs. I put them in two bedrooms...my 8' ceilings worked well not too deep. The big problem with this fixture: you cannot get a screwdriver in it to screw the bolts to the ceiling electrical box. If the globe was not installed yet, you could set the bolts, but you cannot get the globe in the fixture after install....It will be hard to clean the globe at a later time. Since I LOVE the fixture, I am going to purchase another for the hallway and put up with the hassle of attaching it to the ceiling box! LuLu, in WI
