Inspired by classic lanterns, this brushed iron traditional table lamp boasts a caged champagne glass nightlight base.

Ideal for traditional or transitional decor, this Mission style table lamp has an outer base of brushed iron in a simple and elegant design. Inside the cage-like outer base is an urn of beautiful champagne glass containing a convenient night light that also makes a great accent. A warm beige drum shade sits on top and complements the elegant glass.

BEST ANSWER: I didn't put it on a scale but I would say 2-3 lbs. Not so light that it would tip easily and not so heavy you can't easily pick it up and move it.
Is there a separate switch for the night light vs the reading light? I'd like to use the lamp in the bedroom and wondered if there is only 1 switch does the lighting sequence go from nightlight only-to-off" or would the bright reading light come on before you could turn the lamp completely off?

BEST ANSWER: There is only one switch. The first click turns on he light in the base, the second click turns on the main lamp, the third click turns on the main lamp and the light in the base and the next click turns off the lamp. We attached dimmer switches which also can be used to turn the lamp off in whatever mode it is in.

BEST ANSWER: The answer depends on how tall the table is that the lamp would be placed on. So long as the table is at least 24" tall, I believe this would provide adequate light for reading when placed between two recliners.

BEST ANSWER: There is a collar at the stem of the main shaft at the top of the light that needs to be loosened and then slide the top portion of where the night light is and the bulb had tabs you pinch together to remove the bulb for replacement. It is a clear small stem chandelier type bulb.

How do you change the night light bulb?

BEST ANSWER: Remove shade, There is a large nut next to the base of the lamp unscrew that large nut and raise the large lid enough to reach the wire with the night light. pull it up through the little hole and change the build then reinsert the bulb back into the hole. Replace large cover then rescrew the nut.
Be sure to unplug the lamp and remove the shade.

BEST ANSWER: It seems to me to be metal and then of course the glass around the night light base.
Wish I could see the glass up close. Is it glass??? They need a ZOOM OPTION on there lamps. Can't really see good.

BEST ANSWER: Sorry I can't add a picture here, but yes, it is glass and it really is beautiful. We got 2 for our room and love them. The glass is kind of a frosted effect, and the nightlight has a lovely warm glow.

BEST ANSWER: Hi - you can use LED bulbs with this design, but it does not include them. The lamp uses one maximum 150 watt standard base bulb for the top light and one 7 watt night light bulb below.

BEST ANSWER: To change the night light you will have to undo the small ring above the decorative cap underneath the socket assembly. Once removed, you can slide the cap upwards to gain access to the night light bulb. I emailed you a copy of the assembly sheet.

BEST ANSWER: This item does not allow for a 3-way bulb. For lamps that don't already have a 3-way socket, we recommend using a table-top dimmer to get similar functionality. Using a dimmer will allow you to easily adjust the bulb brightness as needed.

Gorgeous lamp!!!
These lamps look so nice in our family room! I was a little nervous about ordering a lamp online versus buying one that's in a store, but my worries were put to rest once I opened the box. They are so nice & the night light setting is a real nice feature to have. I would definitely order from Lamps Plus again! They were packed so well!

Beautiful
I bought this lamp for my living room. We needed a bright light to illuminate the room and work as a reading lamp. This lamp is perfect. It's nice an sturdy, it has a simple elegance, and bonus is the little night light. We turn that on when we're out for the evening. All in all, I feel this was a great purchase. My family and I have used Lamps Plus before to add lighting in our townhome in CA. We've been very happy with our purchases.
