It's not round
Its disk shape, but it is very pretty, the tube in the middle slides around a little , not screwing in tightly or securely, but I'm not going thru the trouble to send it back, It looks real pretty on the white dresser!!!

I purchased 2 of these lamps, they are so beautiful, I was so happy with them that I bought another glass bottle type lamp to go with the first two that I bought, I absolutely love al of them, my living is beautiful. to me anyway . I'm tickled pink with everything and may get a few more for my bedroom

This lamp base is NOT round. It is a flat-oval. Very disappointed.
