BEST ANSWER: Yes it will probably go with most brushed nickel finishes and fixtures as long as not side-by-side. So if faucet/towel rack, etc are brushed nickel and this is on the wall above, it will be ok. The brushed nickel finish (when put side-by-side) is a little darker and warmer. The finish of the brushed aluminum is very nice, will appear lighter and modern/geometrical. But this does have a warmer tint to the finish (warmer than brushed chrome) but definitely not as warm as true brushed nickel but it is close enough.

Use a warm colored bulb (this comes with halogen bulb but I swapped it out with dimmable 2700k led bulb) and when turned on, gives it the brushed metal an even warmer tone. This sconce mostly throws light above and below the fixture not so much outward (so not useful for sconce as primary illumination say beside bathroom sink/mirror/medicine cabinet). Beautiful as mood/ambience light (esp when put on a dimmer).

BEST ANSWER: Dimmable LED works well. 2700K to 3000K color temperature. 40 to 100 watt equivalent depending on the amount of light you need.

Can I fit a larger 6W LED Bulb, in this sconce?

BEST ANSWER: Yes you can. But, we currently do not offer a G9 6 Watt 120V LED bulb for this wall sconce.
Can this model use an LED bulb instead of the halogen bulb that comes with it?

We bought 4 of these lights and during construction the screws to put covers on them have been lost, is it possible to obtain replacement screw packs to mount the covers by chance? They are special spacer screw extensions that mount the 2 sconce covers! Hoping you can help!

What type of sconces could be placed inside a large shower? I've seen sconces inside showers recently and they make a nice statement...yet I can't seem to find lamps that can handle the damp/wet area.

BEST ANSWER: This design is not specifically rated for damp locations. However, if the area is well ventilated with no buildup of steam or condensation, and if it is not installed over tubs or adjacent to showers, it should be fine.

BEST ANSWER: No this is not a plug in; it is a fixture you install. It is a beautiful fixture, even better than it appears in the picture. It gives off good light; I ordered 4 of them; had them installed by our maintenance technician and we are very happy with them.

makes a statement when on or off
The design caught my attention because it was so different. I just had them installed and LOVE them. During the day they are almost like artwork on the wall and when lit they make a statement. As others have said the way the light is diffused is wonderful. Highly recommend.

Nice (modern) looking sconce!
I put the sconce (two of them) in our new master bedroom. My wife and I do love the modern look it provides, it does enhance the look/appearance. However, it is not bright (to my standard), at least with the bulbs it comes with. But, we love this overall and would recommend to anyone.

More of a sculpture than a lamp
We have one of these in a stairwell. It looks cool, but I had expected that there would be interesting shadows and reasonably bright downward light.

Turns out the shadows are not interesting, and the light is rather dim.

Further, the bulbs, even LEDs ,last about a year, and it is very difficult to change them (there are 4 screws that must be undone; here are metal spacer nuts that require very precise alignment, and the bulbs are difficult to remove and insert)

This lamp would be a nice statement piece in an accessible location with other lighting, but it is not a very functional piece.

fantastic style and function
gorgeous light. we have this in the basement play area and media area. the metal construction will hold up to any ball or toy the kids throw at it. the design and the way the light is filtered is beautiful. the image of the light turned on sold me and so glad it did. perfect amount of light to watch tv, but too dim for full room lighting.
