It features three aluminum gray rods stocked asymmetrically on top of each other for an unusual eye-catching effect. BEST ANSWER: This ceiling light is not rated for damp locations. But if you still intend to use it in a bathroom and the area is well ventilated with no buildup of steam or condensation, and if it is not installed over tubs or adjacent to showers, it should be fine.

BEST ANSWER: It is not solar powered, unless attached to a power grid that derives energy from the Sun. You will need to run wires in the ceiling for thos fixture to work.

BEST ANSWER: The clear plastic light encasements are removable using the black plastic turning key supplied at purchase. The key loosens rings inside the encasements that allows them to be pulled off the silver light bars.

Even though this includes a combined 240 watts of light which should be plenty of light (ceiling height also needs to be factored), the size may be too small.
