The light has a life expectancy of 50,000 hours but is there a reasonable guarantee? What if it dies much sooner?

If these are 'built in' LED lights and can't be changed... How long will this last??? I love the design but it's not inexpensive and the longevity worries me!! 😕

BEST ANSWER: We replaced the flushed overhead light in our dining area with this. It's bright, but not distractingly so. It's really gorgeous and upgrades our dining area tremendously. We have received many compliments since its install.

Beautifully made and no led failures. Have had other LED designs that failed out of the box from other source. What's the difference?
We love it! We have been told that it's not dimmable, why is this? We have other LED lights that are dimmable. What's the story?

Great light while the bulbs last. And they don't always last.
Well, I bought this beautiful light a year and a half ago and was super excited to install it in my house.

It has been a very nice, bright, beautiful light, until now.

The other day one of the LED bulbs (that's supposed to last for 50,000 hours) quit working, and the light looks quite sorry now.

I contacted Lamps Plus' customer support, but was given the answer that these bulbs cannot be replaced individually, and my light is out of warranty, so there is nothing they can do. Basically though cookies.

What good is the "the bulbs are supposed to last for 50,000 hours" if sometimes they don't? Very disappointed with this approach.

P.S. would be nice if this light was dimmable.

Pendant Light
This light fixture is beautiful! We love it and looks great! It's very bright. The only thing I would suggest is that the chrome bar going from the top of the fixture towards the ceiling would be thicker and longer. It's only about 12 inches and I wish it went all the way up to the part that attaches to the ceiling. I don't care for the wire showing, but I guess everyone's needs are different.
