You get two lights in one with this plug in wall lamp: a swing arm with cylinder shade is on top, along with a gooseneck LED reading light.

This plug-in wall lamp features a swing arm function as well as a separate LED reading light for added convenience. A soft colored fabric lampshade pairs beautifully with the warm bronze finish for a neutral and traditional look.

What is the length of the gooseneck lamp from its base?

BEST ANSWER: This wall lamp is designed as a plug-in and there are no conversion kits available for hardwire installation. But, you may consult with a qualified electrician for your conversion options.
Is this lamp mounted inside and between the studs? requiring cutting out a drywall opening? If so, how deep is the recess? I would need to mount on an exterior wall and do not want to remove insulation. thanks!

BEST ANSWER: Dry wall anchors and screws are included for mounting this wall lamp. You may also use wood screws if mounting directly to the studs.

BEST ANSWER: There are various guidelines on where to place your wall lamp next to your bedside. One of the most important things to consider is whether or not you are able to reach the switch/lamp without getting out of bed. Just consider to be able to reach the switch from a sitting position in bed. Place the light high/low enough where the bulb is not seen from underneath the lamp shade and glaring in your eyes.
Where does the diffuser go? When my electrician was finished the diffuser was still in the box.

BEST ANSWER: Yes. I would think you could change the lamp shade on the Possini Euro Radix Swing Arm Wall Lamp pretty easily. The shade has a pretty common frame that attaches to the lamp with a plastic clamp/nut that screws onto the threaded light fixture and holds it in place. If you find another shade with the same frame, you could definitely swap it out for the one provided.

Nice look, but poor quality control
I bought 2 of these, after purchasing 2 other Possini wall lamps of a slightly different style that were very nice. One came without the diffuser. One had a loose handle on the small reading light. Both were very hard to install flush with the wall due to poor design of the plate that attaches to the wall (so from the side they don't look level). Because we like how they look, we decided - for now - to keep them and are waiting for Lamps Plus to send a diffuser, for an exchange on the one with the defective handle (a process that takes too long), and decided to try to figure out on our own how to make them lay flat against the wall. The solution from the Lamps Plus tech on how to get them to fit flush was not helpful...take them off and take them to a machine shop to have new holes drilled (which would cost $$ and mar the finish). If we can't figure out how to make them lay flat, we very well may return them both.

Perfect lamps for my guest room
The lamps are installed on each side of the bed. Having the advantage of the little reading lights make this very useful and practice in a small design.

Drum shade is too dark
This is a very nice lamp, but the DRUM SHADE is too dark. A WHITE or EGGSHELL shade would make it far more useful to me as task lighting. Other than that, it is a well-designed and easy to install fixture that I think is worth having. I'll buy a new shade for my three.

Great solution
We bought two of these and placed one over each bedside table.
The reading lights especially are wonderful. The quality is excellent, and it is nice that these can be hardwired when or if we choose. The only negative is that the main bulb makes a bit of a buzzing noise; maybe if the bulb is replaced this will cease. Overall, highly recommend.

We are happy with the addition of our new wall lamps for the bedroom. Provides great lighting for reading in bed and improves the overall lighting in our bedroom. However, the bracket does not mount flat against the wall and the color is more black than bronze.

Perfect Bedside Wall Lamp
Nice looking wall mount lamp. Great for anywhere you need a lamp that doesn't need a table. Very bright lights. I will be changing bulbs under the shades to a lower wattage. Love them!
