BEST ANSWER: This light might look good in a bathroom. It should not be installed directly over the tub or shower.

I guess it depends on the size of your bathroom. It’s pretty big! We’ve got it outside at the top of the 25 ft peak of our house outside and it still looks big. You may want to find a smaller version for your bathroom.

We bought this light and it is very good looking but we do not live near the ocean. I do recommend drilling small holes on either side of the shade and wiring to the building. We had to replace the first light when wind broke it and the second one is already twisting with the wind. I don't think the little screw that is suppose to secure it is enough to keep it from twisting.
