BEST ANSWER: From the base on the table to the top of the lampshade is 26 1/2 inches. To the top of the center is 30 1/2 inches. The lampshade is 16 inches in diameter. We are using it on the she nightstand, along with a nice Waterford glass lamp on the he nightstand. Both look fab, and work well.

BEST ANSWER: No, there are no cracks in the base - it is a shadow or shine. There are customer pictures of the lamps and they look more beautiful in real life than pictures - we have 2 of them and will order more in the future.

BEST ANSWER: This table lamp does not have a harp and saddle. The 2 light cluster with pull chains and the shade sits on a post.

BEST ANSWER: Glad to help. The lamp shade is white (I put a sheet of white paper up against it, and they are the same color). If you prefer a slightly less white, you can use a "soft white" light bulb to mellow it without changing the shade. The lamp itself is stunning and very sophisticated; quality craftsmanship and quite heavy. Highly recommended.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, these lamps certainly work on a night table. I specifically purchased them for our Master Bedroom, and we placed one on each side of the king-size bed. They are elegant and stately, and provide plenty of light for reading.

Terrific purchase
I am in love with this lamp! I bought it for our family room, but it would be fitting for a more formal space, too. The pull chains are perfect, the base is nicely weighted, and the shade shape/color quite pleasing. I wish it were a little taller, but for the price, this pretty lamp cannot be surpassed.

Great lamp!

I would defiantly recommend this item and also lamps plus in general.
This lamp is even nicer than expected. Focal point in room and I loved it so much I ordered the matching floor lamp. Absolutely gorgeous! I have also returned some lamps and had no problem. But not these!

Well made lamps
Although these were well-packed and appear to be well-made, the brass was just too yellow, making the lamp look Big Lotsy-cheap. Had to return.
