Does this lamp have a 3-way socket?

BEST ANSWER: No it does not. I purchased a dimmer for it which is even better tham 3way because i can adjust it to very low or full on. Love this lamp!
What color is the cord?

BEST ANSWER: The electrical cord is brown. There is a knob/switch on the lamp to turn it on (not on the cord).

My awesome lamp
I bought then has to buy a second one. They are made so well and the Beach theme of our home just set the perfect setting for these lamps.
Whenever I buy any lighting in the future it will be from Lampsplus.
P.s. your Customer Service rep was awesome. A small flaw on one of the lampshades and I was send another matching one witHout any hesitation. I was told to just keep the first one as a backup. How many stores are that thoughtful?

The only reason I give it four stars is because the glass base can get dusty and it's kind of a pain to clean. Love the look though!

The picture doesn't do it justice
I saw this lamp on the tv sitcom, The McCarthys, and it was love at first sight. This is a fun and well built lamp. The picture makes it seem larger than it really is, but the dimensions are accurate. I think it's going to be a little difficult to clean but it's totally worth the extra effort.

Love this lamp, but it imploded
I went to turn this lamp on last night and 1/3 of the glass had shattered on its own! The twine was still curved out, like the glass was still there, but it was all shattered inside of itself... I loved this lamp, but now have to find something that wont implode on me...
