when it says lamp is 14 and 3/4 inch high and the shade is 8 in high is that a tin added on to the 14 and 3/4 to make it 22in or is it just straight from bottom to top of the shade 14 and 3/4?

BEST ANSWER: From top of shade to the bottom of the lamp, on mine measures 14 1/16 Inches. I don't know where the 3/4 inch comes in!

BEST ANSWER: The socket is plastic and the base is metal. We generally do not recommend converting the socket to convert the lamp and any modifications will void the warranty. However, you could take the lamps to a local lamp shop and they would be able to replace the socket for you. We do also offer a selection of touch lamps. Do lamps have harps?

BEST ANSWER: Hello Douglas,
No, these do not have harps. Instead, each shade has a frame consisting of 3 wires which join at a ring at the center. These go over the lamp switch bases and are each fastened down with a circular nut, holding the shades securely in place. Hope this helps.
Is this set touch lamps? Or do you have to turn switch on & off?

Cute little chocolate-kiss lights
I got the little brown Chocolate kiss lamps and love them. I was looking for something small and kind of mid-century with a rustic oatmeal colored shade to put next to our bed on the nightstands. These were inexpensive and are pretty darned cute. I’m pleased.

Love these lamps
I absolutely love this pair of lamps! I bought them to sit on side tables in my bedroom. I am in the process of re-arranging my living space based on the practice of Feng Shui. Having a pair of matching lamps is good Feng Shui in the bedroom! Also, I was fortunate to have purchased these lamps when they were discounted; even more appealing!
