Sully Warm Brass Plug-In Wall Lamp

I love these lamps. They're great quality and the dimmer switch feature is really nice. My only complaint is that the dimmer switch is high up on the cord so you can't use a metal cord cover.

The lamp itself is very nice looking-- clean lines, nice finish, nothing mucking it up... but the CORD! It has a clear cord witha badly position inline dimmer switch, and let me tell you, i did not think a switch could make me return a lamp, but they are awful. Big, bulky, and cheap clear plastic. Had to return.

I ordered two of these. Packed very well. Arrived as stated and in perfect condition. Love the finish. All hardware needed to install was provided.
Disappointed that the cord to plug in, is so short. Also, I didn't realize the switch would be on the cord, not the metal portion of the light. This is not the fault of the company, by any means, but I had to modify my original plan to make this work. I'm including this info so others who are interested in this product have all the info. I missed it in the product information.
One happy surprise was the dimmer effect on the switch. This is something I do use.

Ultimately, we love these lamps. They are minimal, we love how they arch over right down onto our nightstands, and the dimmer switch has proved to be something we use and we like more than we thought we would. However, we experienced a few issues. First: the wall anchors provided are SUPER cheap. They do not have a collar on them, so one of them went too far into our wall. That was a bummer. So possibly consider getting better quality anchors before installing these lamps. Second: before you install them, measure the cord lengths if you are trying to hide the large, less than aesthetically pleasing dimmer switch. We installed the first lamp with specific measurements in mind that the dimmer switch would fall just below the top of our nightstands so they would be still accessible, but not in plain view. We then go to install the second one on the other side, using the same measurements, and the dimmer switch is showing above the top of the nightstand. We measure both cords and low and behold, the dimmer switch on the first one was 2 inches lower down the cord than the second one. This was also a bummer. I ended up just buying little vases for the nightstands to cover up the switch somewhat -- there was no way we were going to mess around with the lamp placement once one was already up on the wall (especially with a less than perfect anchor halfway into the wall). Now that they are up, we absolutely love them, couldn't be happier. The amount of light is great, the dimmer switch is nice when one of us wants to read and the other one wants to go to bed. Just buy better anchors and measure your cords BEFORE you install them and you will be happy as a clam.

Two additional notes: These are indeed pretty brassy in color. If you are looking for a softer or lighter brass color, these might not be the lamps for you. We didn't mind it, but I could see how this could be a problem for some. Also, in reference to the dimmer switch -- we put in regular light bulbs and can hear a faint hum that gets more pronounced when you turn up the dimmer. It's not terrible but I just wanted to make people aware. My husband thinks using LED bulbs should fix this issue (we haven't tried this yet) but if you are sensitive to noises like this, just know you might hear a faint humming noise coming from the bulb because of the dimmer switch.

Love the lights... beautiful over my daughters daybed. Lampshade swivels to move light to where I need it over my daughters daybed.

I first fell in love with these lights on Amazon and then they went out of stock. I was so happy to find them here! They were perfect for our recent master bedroom remodel and suit the space so well. They were super easy for me to install, and we really like the look. The only complaint is that they are slightly “brassier” than they appear in the product photos. But they still work in our room.

High quality, sturdy seeming, and attractive lamps with a plug in cord were exactly what I wanted, and these lamps deliver. I bought a pair to hang by a guest bed. They were easy to install, and the dimmer switch is an especially nice touch for guests who like to read. The cord placement means that you can use a metal cord cover (boo!), but the cord is clear rather than white, which helps. I plan to use a fabric cord cover. Overall, an excellent value.

Bought 2 of these for each side of my bed. And they are perfect. Very easy to install and the colour is just what I was looking for. Love the dimmer option as well.

Love these lamps! They give off the perfect amount of light. The gold on these lamps is the perfect shade, and they came with lightbulbs which was a huge surprise!

Looks great. Very mid mod. We like that it's dimmable. The only odd things is that it states that it cannot take more than 43 Watts, which doesn't exist as wattage, at least not in the US. Also wish it would take an energy efficient bulb.

The "brass" looks cheap, it looks like it was spray painted gold. I'm hoping it doesn't chip off. Like others mentioned, there is a huge ugly plastic dimmer switch/dial on the cord. It hides behind my couch and I have the lamp on a switch plug, so that's ok for me, but I wouldn't be ok with it showing and it would be cumbersome to use that to turn the lamp on and off every time, since it kind of requires two hands to operate it.
I also was unable to order it through Lamps Plus. I tried multiple times and my order wouldn't go through. I ended up ordering the same lamp [..], shipped and sold by Lamps Plus.
Otherwise, I like the shape of it and it serves it's purpose.

Beautiful lamp. I love that it doesn’t require hard wiring. Comes with screws and anchors for mounting. I love the dimmer feature.

Nice light, as pictured. Shipped to us with wrong screws. (They were too long). Called to inform them and took another week to get different screws. Otherwise just go to local hardware store and pick some up but you shouldn't have to do this in the first place!

These sconces are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. Shipping was so fast, and installation was a breeze. I love that they have a dimmer, and haven’t had any issues with it so far. Great product and quality!

These lamps arrived in great condition, were very easy to hang on our walls, and look great. They appear true to the photos. The dimmer switch isn't much of a bother since I was able to disguise it behind two nightstands. Very pleased with these items!

Lovely lamp. Chord isn’t just long enough to reach the outlet if the lamp is mounted over my full length mirror. Very easy hanging.

I love these Lamps! Installation was very easy using the anchors. I was looking for a space saver for my guestroom and lighter weight feel. The lamps exceeded my expectations.

Love the style of this lamp, looks great as bedside lighting however when its dimmed low it seems to self adjust!! Looks like we can’t really use the dimmer switch too low. Also wish the switch wasn’t so big and so low (from lamp base). Room for improvement but still happy with this purchase.

The lamp looks great and my daughter loves it. Husband was less happy about installation: The screws that are included have too small heads for the holes, so it's only a question of time before they slide through the holes and the plate that attaches the lamp will fall off. The larger two screws that are visible form the front plate were bent and too long, so the plate and lamp aren't really straight or flush with the wall. Finally, the socket is extremely crooked, ie the metal part is touching the surrounding ceramic part, so the bulb is screwed in very uneven, almost touching the inside of the shade

Nicely made lamp, good workmanship. My only complaint is that the dimmer switch is bulky and oddly placed on the cord. It would be much more manageable - and look better - it it was incorporated into the metal base of the lamp.

Everything about the look of this sconce is great, however I spent 40.00 on cord covers for the wall that can’t be used because there is a giant switch on the cord about a foot from the sconce...try and hide that!

Cool look and functionally sufficient lamp. I had to add washers to the screws behind the mounting plate because the screws were either too long or the ball/cap wasn’t deep enough to hold the lamp tight enough and flush to the wall so there was an annoying wiggle/looseness. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying.

One of the lamps came in perfect condition. The warm brass is a little more orange in real life than other brass in my house, but I still really like the lamp and the price was right.

The other looked like it was open (tape was different, internal packaging was in tough shape, tape inside was cut). Screws were out of the actual fixture. I screwed them back in, and installed it to find it was loose on the wall. As irritating as it is, I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it because it is anchored to the wall. I am just a little disappointed that it appears they re-sold a return.

The lamp looks good and seems to work well (haven't used it much yet). But to turn it on and off there's a clear plastic "dial" to allow for dimming. Sitting in bed, to turn the light on or off requires that you get a good hold of the dial in just the right way and rotate the dial all the way to on or off with your thumb. It takes too much time and effort. I think I may change the dial to a toggle on/off switch. If it had come with this I'd have given it a 5 star rating
