Beautiful stylish lamp, just the right size for end table and right height for reading. The only drawback is that it is not 3-way, but if one is a bit handy, the socket is easily replaced with a 3-way socket.

These are heavy duty lamps that added a nice toucg to our bedroom.

The colors in the slate complement the colors in our living room. I love the look of these lamps.

Love the uniqueness and craftsmanship of these lamps. Arrived well packaged and adds a nice look to our “comfy” room. Very sturdy and solid construction. 3 way bulb capacity would be a plus, but it accepts a 100 watt bulb, which gives the light we need in corner of room. 150 watt bulb in the taller lamp is great in the table we have between 2 recliner chairs so plenty of light for reading

Bought 2 of these. Nice lamps, but the color is a little weird. Looks a little more the color of putty as opposed to a slate. But decided it was ok to keep. Plus one of them arrived with a broken base. The shipping pkg wasn’t damaged so not sure how that happened. Thought I could glue it back together but nope. It wouldn’t stay.

We purchased these lamps for our living room and are so happy with them! They are perfect for the look we wanted to achieve which includes a lot of natural wood and other natural elements. Every natural material has variance and slate is no exception. The first pair we received were highly different, to the extent that they didn't even look like they belonged together, much less qualify as a pair. However, Lamps Plus was fabulous in working to resolve it. They sent us two more lamps. We put all four together, selected the two we wanted to keep (one of the original set and one of the replacement set were a perfect match!!), and returned the other two with FREE return shipping. This was our first purchase with Lamps Plus but it definitely WON'T be our last!! Terrific product coupled with exceptional customer service.

Highly recommended, looks great on top of the dining room cabinet, coloration of base very cool. Excellent quality and rectangular shade provides more modern vibe in the room.

Ordered two of these lamps to replace some very sad nightstand lamps in our bedroom. The room is painted a warm gray and the lamps and shades look fine with the wall color. Our house is a modified craftsman style and the style fits in well.

I have been looking forever for lamps that would go well with my end tables and they are perfect.

Fits perfectly with our room and easy to reach from bed

Absolutely beautiful. Redecorated den and wanted everything to have some earthy feel to it and this lamp was perfect. Elegant but casual at the same time.

The lamp we had in this spot had an urn shaped base and a round shade. It just didn't fit well on the narrow buffet. This narrow lamp with the rectangular shade is the perfect fit for the location. There is a framed etching in a bronze frame on the wall next to it that picks up the bronze tones in the lamp base perfectly, as well as the brown tones of the mahogany buffet. Overall, it makes a striking tableau that we love.

We ordered 2 lamps to be delivered. One of the two came with the bottom base broken off so we had to call and exchange it for another one. Love the lamps but annoyed I had to take my time to return a damaged product. If I had wanted to spend my precious free time running around I wouldn’t have had them delivered. In addition I had to change my plans because they’d only hold the lamp for 24 hours and I already had 1 up and running in my bedroom.

Lamp and shade would have 5* but shade arrived damaged even though it was all packed very well. I suspect it happened T packing an the factory. Customer service sent a new shade right out but it is more brown than the original one and so I need to find yet another shade. Good transitional lamp tho.

I love this lamp. I bought two for my bedroom, and they are besutiful. Unfortunately, one arrived with a chip. Hence, the 4 rating.
