- Platter Series round energy-efficient LED outdoor flushmount ceiling light by Amax Lighting.
- White finish over metal construction. Die-form-cold-rolled steel housing. White polycarbonate diffuser.
- Dimmable with electronic low voltage dimmer, or LED rated dimmer.
- LED averages 50,000 hours at 3 hours per day.
- Simple and installs directly in a standard 4"-6" J-Box.

Very hard to install. And I’m a construction professional.
It’s a nice looking, nicely made fixture. It should provide a lot of light. BUT... it is heavy and large, and has a large “lump” that must be fit up into your ceiling work box. It leaves little room to fit the wires and wire nuts into the ceiling box. The large diameter, the “lump,” and the heavy weight of this one piece unit made it impossible for one person to install. It will be a challenge even for two people. I’ve opened the box so I probably won’t be able to return it, but I’ll try.
If you have an extra large deep ceiling work box, two stepladders, and an assistant, you likely will be able to install it, and you’ll have a nice bright light.

Almost invisible
This was exactly what I was looking for. I purchased 2 for a 12 x 26' outdoor area and they provide great light and work with the proper LED dimmer. From the side, you can see a black trim at the top, it is NOT 100% white like it shows here, but that is the only thing that I can ding it for.

Great light fixture!
I am very pleased with this light fixture I bought. It is low profile, modern in design, and looks sleek mounted above our patio. The LED's are super bright, too, which is a plus. It is much better than the fixture we previously had there.
