Sleek and Solid
I bought two of these for my living room corners and they look crisp and contemporary without dominating the space. I wanted something tall that would shine upward toward my high ceilings. These lamps are well built and heavy compared to some others that seemed flimsy, so I was willing to pay the extra money for these. Pros: Sturdy, Good Size, Artistic Design, Easy Assembly, Area of Illumination. Best Uses: Dark Corners, Decoration

Lights up the whole room
I love this lamp so much that I recently bought a second one to match. I have a long living room with no overhead lighting. With these two lamps, it's as bright as day in there. The lamps are kind of pricey, but they've saved me the larger expense of hiring an electrician to install overhead lights. I'm so pleased with my purchase, and highly recommend these lamps to anyone who needs a whole lot of light!
Pros: Easy Assembly, Good Size, Area of Illumination, Sturdy, Artistic Design

Not bad,....but not great.
It's not a bad lamp, but it's a very expensive lamp. For that price, I expect things like good quality construction. This lamps arrives almost fully assembled. However, the vertical portions of it are either warped or poorly constructed. One of the included light bulbs didn't work. I find myself slightly disapointed with the purchase.
Pros: Area of Illumination, Easy Assembly, Good Size
Cons: Flimsy Construction

Defective lamp and bulb.
The receptacle for the bulbs was mounted crooked so that one of the four bulbs stuck out above the glass shade and the bulb on the opposite side was touching the glass shade. It screwed onto a threaded shaft and it seemed to be cross threaded so it could not be fixed. Also, one the bulbs that was included was adefective and flickered and buzzed. One of the decorative rods was bent at the top and it looked like it left the factory that way and was not a result of shipping damage. The switch felt pretty cheap and wobbly too. It is big and bulky and repackaging and returning it is a big job. Looks good and puts out a lot of light, but the quality is poor.
Pros: Artistic Design, Easy Assembly
Cons: Poor Quality

Finally adequate light output
Used a 500W Halogen for many, many years. Looked for a suitable substitute, but most all lights had one puny bulb. This one has 4 bulbs with a 4 position switch(Off, One on, three on, and four on). It came 90% assembled. It is a clean looking design. The cord is plenty long. Not a big deal, but like all CFLs, it takes a while to get to full brightness.
Pros: Artistic Design, Area of Illumination, Easy Assembly
