Do these give off enough light for bathroom vanity?

BEST ANSWER: These are probably not bright enough for applying makeup, etc. They emit a nice, softer light that is a bit dim. The sconce I have is in my powder room and it is perfect for it.
I’ve heard halogen lights get very hot. Have you had a problem with this?

BEST ANSWER: Hi - Halogen bulbs can get hot but absolutely fine to use. But, you may also use LED which I have added an option below. LED is very energy efficient as well as a very cool bulb (temperature).

BEST ANSWER: Julie, perhaps the Magnificence pendant chandelier could look really nice since you have tall ceilings! Or, if you want some extra bling in the room you could do the Leya 19 inch wide. Even though it is a little wider than the suggested 15 inches, the height of the ceilings could accommodate this fixture. You could put it on a dimmer for added drama!
