I have an 8 foot ceiling. I used the smallest rod they had and it was perfect for my dining room table. If my ceiling was lower by 14 inches it would be too low. Also before we put the table, we had to block it off because everyone kept walking into it and getting poked. It is beautiful, but I think you need an 8 foot ceiling to make it work.

It is definitely bright and attractive. We hung ours in a family room with a 9 foot ceiling. Because it needs to be hung a certain distance from the ceiling, it may be a bit low for an 8 foot ceiling but may be okay over a table.
Yes, it should fit as the hanging height is adjustable. I have 9 foot ceilings and removed one of the wire cover tubes to make it fit over our dining table. Looks great.
Yes, we also have it over our dining table and our floor to ceiling measurement is also 8 ft. The vertical rod is adjustable, we have it at medium length. Hope that helps.

Yes it would! It comes with extra chrome down rod sticks that it hangs down with, which I did not use as I only have 8 foot ceilings. Ps it’s beautiful, and I always get a lot of compliments on it. I have it with a dimmer as it can give a lot of light or less if you want to set a different mood or use less lighting.
I don’t think so. The description says the downrods are a total of 42” (using all three 12” and one 6” rod) and the light is 17”, so that would only extend 5 feet down from the ceiling and hang 9-10’ above the floor or about 6-7’ above a table. It is a strikingly pretty light though.
I would say yes if the table isn’t too large because the fixture is not that large it diameter. We have a 11 foot ceiling - we used 24” rod then the fixture over 4 chairs as a conversation area. It’s a really cool light and we get many compliments.

BEST ANSWER:I found this light to be quite bright. Since the bulbs point outward, it seems to throw a lot of light in several different directions rather than just downward like some fixtures. I also installed it on a dimmer so it's not too bright when sitting at the table.

I’m sorry, but I don’t know if this fixture can be used outside. I installed it in the dining room, and it’s really stunning. I can’t imagine it being exposed to the weather, ie. Rain or snow or strong winds. Maybe it would be safe in an enclosed porch or a well covered entrance way. I recommend contacting the manufacturer regarding this question, or calling Lamps Plus.

I like the chandelier, but I am not satisfied with the bulbs that were chosen by customer service and sent to me (55K78 - 40W Equivalent Frosted Torpedo). They doesn't look frosted and I can see through yellow colored rubber filaments inside of the bulb. Does the bulb you recommending now also has a yellow rubber filaments inside? If not, would you be able to help me to exchange them. Thanks!
The bulbs you purchased are LED and you are correct, they do show the filament. You can use bulb Style #90809 as another option which is an incandescent bulb and commonly used in chandeliers. How bright is it in terms of overall wattage - 40 watts isn't very bright but maybe the number of bulbs helps with that? I love the look of it, but bought another chandelier recently that looks perfect in the space but it's REALLY much dimmer (in terms of overall light that it provides) than I would have preferred, so I don't want to put myself in the same position again if I can avoid it!

If you use the bulbs they recommend, it gives off a lot of light. We have it in my daughters room, with 10 ft ceiling and I would say it’s almost too bright for that space. We love this fixture
I measured the highest point of one spoke and the longest of another and come up with 20”. They are on a slant rather than straight up and down. I absolutely love my lamp, and every single person that comes to my house has noticed the new fixture and tell me how much they really really like it. I feel it was money well spent
I don’t live where the light is hung, so I can’t actually measure it, but the overall effect is “round” in a spiked kind of way:). It arrived unassembled and you screw in each individual spike, but it was easy and fun. I love the light, it looks great in our mid century remodeled vacation home.
This is basically a sphere. The longest spikes from the center are the same length all around so I would say it is as high as it is wide. So 29 1/2" width and heighth. It is hanging in our living room and we love it. Looks great.

We could not be happier with this chandelier! I had been looking for a dining room chandelier for a couple years to blend just right with our modern, slight touch of mid century decor. Well made, easy to install, lots of light, works great with our dimmer as well. Hubby was delighted, after three tries, when we finally found this chandelier. This Pendant is beautiful. Everyone who comes over is very impressed with it. I have a high ceiling so had to order an additional rod to make it long enough. No problem though. You can order right away or if you find you need it later they mailed the piece within a week.
I am in love with how this lamp looks in person and in my house! It was that little bit of pizazz that pulled my room together! LOVE it! Great Quality and great look!
