BEST ANSWER:I have it hung over dining table and it is beautiful and modern. Could work if you have high ceilings (it is large), you want a statement and you are going for an elegant, fancy look. It is great, just think it depends on actual room and desired look.

While I installed it in my living room, I do think it could work for a master bedroom, provided you have the ceiling height. Be sure to install a dimmer switch for maximum effect. It's a lovely fixture, I've received many compliments on it.
It is a large pendant and I have it in my breakfast nook with 10 ft ceiling with the shortest rod and it still looks big. It is a beautiful pendant and if you have the ceiling height, I think it would work in your bedroom.
For a 13' foyer ceiling, how many downrods would you recommend to hang the chandelier at the appropriate height?

BEST ANSWER:For a foyer light you need to hang 8’ from the floor to the bottom of the fixture. Not sure how long the rods are but I personally would hang from a chain not a rod. We used this fixture for an island pendant. Otherwise it’s just going to look like you have a pendant with a really long rod attached. Hope this helps!

BEST ANSWER:yes! Be sure to buy greater bulb wattage than the traditional 40 watt. We use 60 watt LED bulbs to illuminate using a rheostat. At full power there is plenty of light.

I'm ready to hang this fixture and need to use the 6" down rod. On the 6" rod one end has female threads and the other end has male threads. I need it to be both female threads. Is there an adapter available or a 6" rod with both ends female threads?

BEST ANSWER:This item is not damp rated. But if you still intend to use it in a bathroom, it is highly recommended you have good ventilation. The height is adjustable with the included downrods and 15 feet of cord. Additional 12" rods may be purchased if needed.

We have a sloped ceiling and the distance between the ceiling and the desired elevation of the top of the light would be about 6 feet. I understand that additional downrods are available. However, how long is the cord? For the antique gold finish, it is said to be 15 feet. Is that true for the brushed nickel light also?
I have 9 ft ceilings and would like to use this in foyer but I'm concerned that it will hang down too low. With the 6" down rod that would leave on 6'2" to walk under it. How would it look if I shortened the down rod to 3"? Would it be too close to the ceiling?
I don't think it would be too close to the ceiling. I ordered this exact light for my foyer and the matching one that is a CEILING HUGER for my bathroom. It look s great,

BEST ANSWER:We only connected 3 of the downrods, it hangs just fine. Don't know why U couldn't hang all 4. It is a beautiful chandelier, we have gotten many compliments about how nice it looks.

We hung this light in our entry/foyer and it is spectacular with our 13ft ceilings. Also pairs well with the Kichler Structures series of lights. We have the 3-light island chandelier hanging in the adjacent dining room and 4 sconces and it pairs very nicely. The pictures do not do this chandelier justice, it is fabulous and lights up the area well. Shows through our high window so you can see it from outside as well.

It’s modern and makes a statement without being overbearing. I have it over a large dining table and it looks beautiful. Gives a lot of light so I put on a dimmer so I can creat atmosphere. It’s brushed nickel and goes great with my stainless appliances, since my dining area is open to the kitchen. Very happy I purchased this chandelier.
This chandelier looks amazing in our dining room. It's has a matte finish. Chandelier needs minor assembly. It basically comes flat and needs to be opened to give it the orb look. It has a very modern look and we love it. It looks very high end. I highly recommend this product.
Wonderful brushed nickel spherical light for my formal dining room, which has a soft glow when using the lighting dimmer switch. In the evening the fixture looks golden with the bulbs dimmed and glowing silver with it is lit at the brightest setting. I am truly enjoying the changing colors of this pendant light. Purchased the light to go over a 4x10 ft island in my kitchen. Light looks great but was disappointed in two scratches on the fixture. I had the contractor hang the light anyway because there are noticeable once hung
