Would this light work in bathroom near tub and shower, but not directly over either?

BEST ANSWER:Hi, this chandelier is not rated for Damp or Wet locations. If the area is well ventilated with no buildup of steam or condensation, and if it is not installed over tubs or adjacent to showers, it should be fine.
