Maybe you change cord out to black but I don’t know how the flower could b changed. Not possible. You could spray it black with that paint made for plastic because the flower or canopy is plastic

I would do the semi-flush mount version. I have the hanging version in my office at home with 9 foot ceilings and it only hangs down about a foot. I had my electrician hang it 7 feet from the floor. By the way, it's my favorite light fixture in our new house! Also, I had a dimmer put on it so I could vary the look and amount of light it puts off.

I think it would be sufficient light if the table is no huge. I love this light but I will say the installation of the base on our popcorn ceilings was VERY difficult. I would have added a picture of ours but this comment area did not accept one.

I have 2 of these in a large high ceilinged closet (12x16') they light it well. I think one would work over a table if iris hung low enough. About 36" above table top. The lantern glows but directs light downward as well. I love the effect

Plastic...and cute as can be. Looks like petals of a flower. You can put in a colored lightbulb, if you wish, but I like it with a plain lightbulb because then it looks like gold highlights. I LOVE It and have it above my table in the dinette. TT

I fell in love with this light @ first sight..was kinda worried after reading other reviews about it looking cheap because it's made out of plastic..but when you put it up..it's such a stunning light...you look past that it's made of plastic and it doesn't look cheap..it was so easy to assemble..and shipping was fast..the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is made out of plastic..good quality plastic..but still plastic..

The fixture is beautiful and I absolutely love it in my dining room. It is the primary light source, but when the room is dark and you turn on the light, it only illuminates the table area, not much of the surrounding area. It would be fabulous in a small bedroom. I debated between getting the larger version of this light but am glad I got the smaller, it doesn't take over the room. Keep in mind I have a condo and it is a smaller dining area. The lamp is very light, but the petals are delicate and when you try to hang it and adjust for the proper height, it is a balancing act in order not to damage, dent or crush the petals of the lamp. I set the lamp on a padded chair next to the ladder and was very careful when installing (easy to install). I am very pleased with this lamp.

I purchased the Euro White Flower based on the outstanding reviews. Initially when it arrived I was a little concerned. It is plastic and it looked huge, but once my husband installed it and the light was turned on it was amazing to look at. My husband's only complaint was the screws that came with the fixture were to short, other than that he was very pleased.

This fixture is a bright ornament in my daughter's room, which is generally a bohemian theme of dark and bright color. I would hesitate to hang it low over a dining table because it is plastic and could appear cheap to some. It is more ornamental than illuminary for me but I have always prefered lamps to ceiling lights for illumination anyway. It is light and easy to hang, although 2 screws were too short for the final installation. I had longer ones on hand so no problem.

We put this in the house we built and moved into almost three years ago, and it is my favorite light, the light I usually turn on as it lights the room well and yet is soft and lovely. We are building a new home. planning to retire and downsize, and I will purchase another one, this time for the dinning room open to the kitchen, with white cabinets and a concrete floor. Buying this light was really a stretch stylistically, I did not anticipate that I would love it so much. Sometime you just have to go with your gut even if it seems crazy. It is a beautiful light at an excellent price.
