I ordered this wall sconce because I have the 18" square flush mount ceiling fixture in my closet and I LUV IT!!! Wanted to replace the old wall sconce in my closet to accent the fixture I already have in there. I know it will look awesome, just like it's sister fixture! Possini makes very nice lighting fixtures and they last!

BEST ANSWER: Hi - No, this is a direct wire fixture.
Is this more ambient lighting or will it properly illuminate a small space to see well in the dark?

BEST ANSWER: This is a beautiful light that we bought for a small alcove to highlight a wall decor but it does provide soft lighting to see where you are walking in the dark.Not good enough lighting for reading but more for accent lighting.Hope this helps in your decision making.

Attractive, beautiful, elegant
This was my very first purchase from Lamps Plus after buying my home. I bought these beautiful light fixtures to go in the livingroom beside the fireplace. They are attractive off or on. When they're on, WOW! The light that it gives off and the sparkle on my ceiling and walls that it gives is gorgeous! I've since bought another fixture for my dining room from Lamps Plus. You won't be disappointed with this beautiful.
