Great lighting for almost any room in your home or office! This low voltage complete track kit installs quickly and easily. Kit includes a 4-foot length of track, 3 adjustable bullet lights, and a floating canopy. Takes three 50 watt MR16 bulbs (not included). Place the track lights anywhere on the track to illuminate kitchen areas and more. Cord and plug adapter with in-line on/off switch sold separately.

Can junction box be anywhere along the track?. Will work with a "shallow" junction box?

BEST ANSWER: The track kits floating canopy can be placed anywhere along the track. This will work with a recess shallow mount junction box as well.
Is this suitable for mounting on a suspended ceiling?

BEST ANSWER: Hi – the light operates off of 110-120V AC. But, the track heads are low voltage (12v).

BEST ANSWER: Hi - Yes you can. As long as it fits the bulb specs of the fixture (MR16 G5.3 base, 12v). I have added a recommended LED bulb below you may use.

BEST ANSWER: Hi Gail - Bulbs are not included but they use three 50 watt G5.3 base MR-16 bulbs. I have added the recommended bulbs below along with a recommended low voltage dimmer.

BEST ANSWER: No, these are sold as a complete track system. The individual lights are not sold separately.
Can this track be mounted on a wall and still have full downward aim of each light head? Am thinking of installing on the vertical side of a basement joist, to bring light straight down or at a slight angle. Wouldn't have to worry about a tall person hitting their head on one of the light heads because the light heads would be up in the open joist area. Track would be mounted on the side of the joist, not on a ceiling. Note: these joists will stay open to feature the 100-year-old wood of the joist themselves and the old wood of the subfloor.

BEST ANSWER: I have purchased 5 of these. While the light heads can be turned downward, it’s difficult to keep them in the perfect position, they will be close to where you want them, maybe 95%, but may not be exact. Hope that helps.

BEST ANSWER: Hello - No, this light is not cordless. It has a direct/hardwire canopy. However, there is an optional plug-in kit sold separately (SKU #24324).

Only problem: I ordered a black cord and they sent a white one. Turns out that it is better anyway.
