I don't think it will because there is no pivot point like on a ceiling fan.

Is there a diffuser or lens on the bottom of the light?

BEST ANSWER: No it is open on the bottom and you can get to the bulb easily. I have dimmable soft white LED bulbs in mine and they look great.

No. It is a shade, you may be able to find a different type of shade.

I'd like to hang this in a laundry room. Can I shorten the rod between the light and where it attaches to the ceiling?

BEST ANSWER: The fixture comes with two 6" downrods and two 12" downrods. The minimum hang height is 18 inches from ceiling to the bottom of the fixture including one 6" downrod and the height of the canopy.

We have been very happy with these lights. We put three over our kitchen bar. The lights include 2-6" and 2-12" rods. You can use any combination to achieve, 6", 12", 18", 24", 30" or 36" rod length.

You have to use the rod(s) provided because they screw together into the light or the ceiling piece. if you cut it you lose either the male or female threaded end.

Yes, you could leave out some of the extensions. I believe it comes with two 12" rods and one 6".

What is height measurement of the glass and what is the height measurement of the fixture from the bottom of the glass to the top of the pendant (not including the rod)? for the Grant Style # 3F673 mini pendant

BEST ANSWER: Per the manufacturers spec sheet, the height is 9.5" and overall width 8".

The glass height is approx. 5 inches. The hight of the fixture from the bottom of glass to top of pendant is approx. 9 inches.

The glass is @4.5 in high, and from the bottom of the glass to the top of the pendant where the rod screws in is @8.5 in.
