The Robert Abbey chat line says the base is ceramic, but your site says it’s cast metal. ??

BEST ANSWER: Per the manufacturer, this table lamp is constructed of hammered cast metal.
What color is the darker option?

BEST ANSWER: The manufacturer describes the finish as an antique rust. But, to our eyes, it looks black/bronze color.

Lovely lamp
I ordered a pair of these, and one of the first ones that was delivered had a gash in the base; Lamps Plus exchanged it, but it was a bit complicated because the box was too large to fit in my car, I had to arrange for it to be picked up and returned, and then it took weeks to get the replacement, even though they had a photo of the damage.

Pros: Easy to Clean, Artistic Design, Good Size

If you're looking for plain, simple, rustic, lodgey,this is your lamp-I ordered two, and I love the way they look-so dark and sturdy...Well made, solid, not to heavy, easy to clean, perfect size for end tables.
