Hi, please tell me where the 18 inches is measured from. Is it from the top of the rod pictured or bottom of the rod?
Tina M on Mar 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The overall height incudes the rod in the measurement.

Eclectic Charm
This item is used at my house as outdoor lighting on the patio. We have four arrayed under the eaves. Everyone always says they look like the lantern on a wizard's walking cane.. Recently we broke one of the four and were happy to find one here as a replacement. They have weathered well -- the other three have been up for a decade! When we recently renovated we considered switching out for a new style, but there is something fabulous about having these hanging in the back of the house over the patio. They cast a slightly golden glow and aren't particularly bright which is a good thing for when you are just outside having dinner or drinks with friends. Our house is your basic mid century raised ranch but this lends a bit of cottage, bungalow, or arts and crafts style to our backyard.

Pros: Artistic Design

Cons: Difficult to Clean
