Looks classic!
We installed this in a kitchen of a house built in 1919. It looks perfect. It is a big light and if you have lower ceilings, make sure you have clearance reaching overhead. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be enough light since there is only 1 bulb, but we put in a 100W CFL bulb and the light diffuses really well.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Assemble

Great value
We bought a craftsman house and went all out with expensive Rejuvenation Hardware lights. But for the mud room, we bought this one for the price. It is less expensively made but to be honest I can’t tell the difference in terms of the look. Very happy with the value and good looks.

Non-Standard sized hardware.
They look good once I got them up! The screws that attach the fixture to the ceiling bracket were too long. Purchased shorter ones... Only to find out they were a non-standard size. No metric or standard size screw would fit the finial nubbins. Had to buy new little finial nubbins and a new bracket to actually install.

I would recommend these lights.
I purchased two of the lights because I was hoping for a vintage look in my house. They do give the appearance of being vintage with plenty of light for my room. The only drawback was when I mounted the lights the screws did not fit for my ceiling, so it forced me to cut them to fit.
