what are spider shades?

BEST ANSWER: The name spider refers to the cross bar configuration at the top of the shade, which requires a harp fixture rising from the base of the bulb to the top, upon which a screw-on finial holds the whole shade together.
I have two table lamps with measurements A=9", B=15", C=9" and D=8"........do you have any shades you would recommend ?

Does this shade have pthalates in it? Are pthalates in this shade-Lampshades have pthalates just like shower curtains and we do not want that in our home.

Super happy and timeless
Love these shades. Wasn't sure these would work with my wooden modern lamps but they are stunning and I'm so glad I took the chance and purchases. Buying another for another lamp and couldnt be happier with my purchase. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence about these shades. Well made fast delivery and packed very well.

quick update for master bedroom
I have two bedside lamps in the master bedroom that just didn't quite work in our new home. Switching up the lampshades was the perfect answer. These shades are well made and the perfect neutral linen color.

I ordered the pair and they arrived nicely packaged and in perfect condition. The fabric is substantial, well made and they look great. One word of caution - be careful removing the plastic wrap - I made a small indentation on the shade where my scissors came up against the linen - my mistake.
