I love this lamp. I created a reading area in my bedroom with a comfortable chair and ottoman; it's my "getaway" space and the lamp is the perfect height looks great with the rest of the furniture.

Nice lamp. I'm using it by my bedside table. Gives lots of light for reading - I also like that it's got 2 settings. It was a little tricky to put together = I almost missed the TINY screws, but once I figured them out it was easy. Haven't had to change a bulb yet, but it seems easy as long as you save the teeny tiny allen wrench that comes with it.

I like the illumination provided by the lamp for reading; the switch allowing two degrees of brightness; the classic design of the lamp; and its relative ease of assembly.

I bought this lamp for the reading area of my living room. It's great for reading or a task but don't count on it to illuminate the entire room. I like the slim, sleek design. Since the scale is so small it would be really nice in a small nook or room.

This is a perfect reading or low light accent lamp due to the ability to easily change the brightness between two settings. The area of illumination is limited to the height of the lamp, so if you are looking for a lamp to light a seating area, this isn't the lamp for you. If you are looking for a minimalist reading or accent lamp, this one is perfect!

Good reading lamp to plant next to your favorite chair. Knowing I bought this lamp through open box sale made it even better than I hoped, although it doesn't extend to standing height.

Recieved this yesterday and it was a little tricky to assemble. Some of the "set screws" are very small and the diagram is not detailed enough to be really helpful. Especially had a hard time putting the shade on until I could see the TINY set screw that had to first be loosened in order to get the shade all the way on. The lamp is very nice looking and exactly what I wanted: a low profile, sleek, elegant reading light. It feels solid and sturdy. The one downside is that it gets VERY hot when operating and that's only on the low setting. It's winter now but I wonder what it's going to feel like sitting under this lamp when it's 80 degrees.
