Space is limited between the recliner and the window. Really not enough room for an end table. We had one once before and it works great and it was easy to clean. My husband likes to use it to set his cup of coffee on and just a few items.

Is the stem one piece or is it two or more that must be screwed together?

Wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this lamp for my mother. It arrived very quickly in perfect condition and was very easy to assemble. The quality is fantastic! I was concerned that the glass shelf wouldn't be great quality. However, it is very thick and stable. A great purchase- Mom loves her new lamp!
