Add this warm bronze finish LED outdoor wall light to your porch or other outside wall. The square shape aluminum body in bronze will add a handsome accent to your home. This up and down light style fixture sends beautiful illumination out from the bottom and top of the design.

Does this light require a junction box in the wall or does it have a knock out for conduit connection?

BEST ANSWER: Yes - This outdoor wall light is designed to mount to a standard 3 1/2" to 4" wall junction box.

Not a cylindrical shape as stated in DESCRIPTION right ? I like rectangular.

BEST ANSWER: No, sits flush on the electrical box. But maybe you can fabricate something? It's nice. And very bright.
Is there a switch only to have the downward light on? If not it gives of total of 40 watts or 40 watts downward and 40 watts upwards?

BEST ANSWER: The light does not have a switch to turn each individual light on. The total light output combined for the up and down light is comparable to a 40W bulb, 420 lumens.

perfect
These fixtures are perfect to use for your outdoor lighting, they don't produce glare. they produce light up and down, perfect for patios where you want to sit but not stare into a light.

3 out of 6 LEDs are out
Purchased two of these lights in silver almost two years ago and 3 of the 6 LEDs in the one lamp are out. Was considering purchasing two more but now not so sure. Very disappointed!

They leak
Purchased 3 units. Love the performance and look. Today I noticed one of the units was full of what I though was dirt (looking at glass from bottom). It turns out to be rust. I checked the top glass and could see water damage and rust there too. Now I tried to get a new one (just out of warranty), and they no longer produce the silver / gray version. Poor quality and not outdoor ready.
