Is it difficult to replace the bulbs?
marcie H on Nov 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It should not be too difficult to replace the bulbs in this design. The glass is attached to the frame with thumbscrews, which need to be removed before taking the glass off. The fixture is over a mirror in my newly re-vamped master bathroom (everything is new) went from early 80's to NOW!

I was a little bit worried the globes looking maybe too like flying saucers, but I went with my adult son's assurances Kichler's light would look great. He was so right (which is usual!)

About the only negative, you absolutely need a dimmer if you plan to utilize the higher wattage provided w/the fixture.....even then, pumping them up to full wattage when cleaning is great.

Again, this is a beautiful light fixture, its design fresh and vibrant, complementing the decor prefectly.

If I can figure out how to send a photo I will add one later.

Pros: Great style, Ease in mounting

Cons: Needs a dimmer for sure, Globes affix wpin-screws

Uber modern light that is totally stylish and purposeful. I put this puppy on a dimmer and it currently hangs over the dual vanity in the Master Bathroom. It really lights up the place with the dimmer cranked up. The 40" size is perfect for the dual vanity. It has now inspired me to begin shopping to swap out the faucets to match the finish!

Bought this product on an open box special and was not disappointed upon arrival. Plus, I saved 50%! Don't know about what some others have identified as the fixture "pulling away" from the back wall - you are supposed to use wall anchors and the outside mounting holes to keep the unit "flush". Kichler products rock!

Pros: Quality Construction, Easy To Install, Great Illumination, Attractive Design, Great Value

Best Uses: Decoration, Primary Light Source, Small Rooms

Bathroom fixture
The item was missing screws and bolts when the electrician came out to install. I ended up having to call in to [...] and then have the electrician come out again. It got costly.

Pros: Great Illumination

Cons: Packaged incomplete

very stylish, happy with purchase
I love this light. The only drawback is the bulbs given with the light are 100W each (totaling 400W). It is extremely bright at this level of light. Since I hung this in the bathroom, it was too bright for me in the morning. I would say either install a dimmer switch or replace the bulbs [...]). Otherwise, very stylish.

After a year, still good
Fixture is holding up well after a year. We replaced 100 watt bulbs with 50 watt, provides plenty of light in the size bathroom in which the fixture is installed and of course is not as hot as with the 100 watt bulbs. We have not had a problem with the base pulling away (yet); we had to install a utility electrical box when we installed the fixture and did use wall anchors. It is not the wall plate that gaps, but rather the outside base of the fixture itself. It still gaps slightly at the top but seems to be okay.

Cons: Difficult To Change Bulb

Best Uses: Small Rooms, Large Rooms, Primary Light Source, Decoration

WOW!! Is our guest bath bright.
Light is really powerful, we used a dimmer and it is great. We have used it in a guest bathroom where a variety of intensity of lilghting may be desired. This will be perfect. The design fits in well with other fixtures in our home.

Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Install, Great Illumination, Quality Construction

Cons: Difficult To Change Bulb

Better looking than I imagined in person
This fixture replaces the old builders light bar (with 12 lights) in the Master Bedroom. The light provided is 'day and night' better. The quality of the fixture is excellent and the finish matches perfectly with the faucets and cabinet handles. (It's like it was made for our home.)

Pros: Attractive Design, Great Value, Easy To Install, Great Illumination, Quality Construction

Best Uses: Large Rooms, Primary Light Source

We love how it lights up our bathroom. With 100 watt bulbs, my husband can shave without a problem. The design is very modern and adds to to the decor of the room.
