Can this one be used inside??? What is the weight
Karla S on Jan 9, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It could be used inside. But it is pretty heavy once it is filled with water and becomes difficult to move.
I think it's more suitable for outdoor use, and that if you are looking for an indoor fountain, I would look for something lighter and easier to maneuver. Also understand that when you move it, that you are likely to have some spilling, and that when the water drips down from the fountain that there is some slight spray from the water falling onto the base. So I wouldn't want to put it on carpet.
What kind of stone to put under it ?
Ilene P on Oct 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I purchased this lamp back in August! It is absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t be happier with it! I would suggest using large river rocks, which is what I did. I will attach a picture shortly, but I think it works really well together with the fountain!

R C on Sep 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi - The pump specs are: the flow rate is 160 GPH, maximum head (water lift) 5.1 feet (45"), 120V, .14A, and uses 8 watts of power. Unfortunately, we do not offer solar pumps to be purchased separately.
I do not understand the purpose of the screen. Is it a filter for leaves, or to stop water from splashing?

Cindy J on Apr 14, 2018

Hi, how much does this weigh? Could you use inside or does the water splash?

Thank you
A shopper on Jun 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: When full of water, it is pretty heavy, as it holds a great deal of water. It does splash water around it to a radius of about 2-3 feet. I have it outdoors on a covered patio. I would not recommend it for inside use unless you had an atrium or water-friendly place to put it. When empty, it is light enough to move around easily. I am 70 and can carry it easily when empty.

Perfect deck fountain!
I love this fountain, it is the perfect size for an outdoor deck or patio area! At night it looks so pretty, the sound is relaxing, not obnoxious, it is just a happy little sun face that makes us smile!! You need to be very careful with the bulb because it is very thin. Ours broke fairly quickly while trying to adjust it, but our local store ordered a new bulb that had to come from China, so we were without the light until it arrived. Our Westminster, CO location can have a lot of harsh weather conditions, but it held up very well, until we stored it in November! Our store manager was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend The Westminster store for anything you need. Very little maintenance, but the screen does a good job keeping leaves out of the water, we just add a little chlorine to the water once a week to keep it clear. The screen could be a little sturdier, be careful with it! We enjoyed this fountain every single day & or night!!!

Pros: Relaxing, Easy Set-up, Easy Maintenance, Attractive Design, Quiet Motor

Cons: Hard To Clean

Still going strong!
I have owned this fountain for at least three years and even though I keep expecting for the pump to go out,it keeps on going. The fountain has also held its looks and is made of sturdy stuff, but it has faded a bit in the Colorado sun. However, it is a delight to hear the sound of running water, and it adds much beauty to my back yard. The only downside is that it is hard to clean. I have found that I have to tip it upside down to get all the water out, and still some remains in the bottom, which I have to soak up with a towel (kind of a pain, but not too difficult), and then I scrub it thoroughly before bringing it inside for the winter. Otherwise, it's fairly maintenance-free. I would definitely purchase this same fountain again!

Pros: Durable, Easy To Install, Attractive Design

Cons: Difficult To Clean

Absolutely beautiful!
If there is any splashover, it's easily fixed by putting a shim of some kind under the front of the fountain to tilt it back a little. We used a flat flagstone. It looks gorgeous and the splashover is gone!

Pros: Relaxing, Attractive Design, Quiet Motor, Easy Set-up, Easy Maintenance

Cons: Splashes Over

Great fountain with some tweaking
I really like the fountain but it does look too plastic so I painted it with some Modern Masters paint. I didn't like the bright white light either so found a small piece of amber glassware at the thrift store to put on top of the bulb. After the tweaking I would give it 5 stars but only 4 as it is out of the box.

Perfect design for the Southwest!
I am very glad this fountain was updated with an LED light instead of halogen, however with that said, I think it should have more than one little single LED light, and the light itself should be one that would put off a more "warm" looking glow instead of a "cool" one. Other than that, I am very pleased with this fountain. It is perfect for my Southwestern garden landscape.

Amazing Fountain have owned 3 years now
It's a beautiful fountain. The exterior has held up really well outside, unprotected. The light and pump combo did finally wear out. I went online to Lamps Plus, pressed their CHAT BUTTON, gave the item# and name and asked about replacing them. The light/pump combo replacement was $29.99, i ordered it immediately and they sent it out in 2days. Voila... working great after 3 years. Now... addressing draining water from the back reservoir.... If you buy a 12 to 18 inch length of tubing that fits the little pump... you just switch the fountain tubing to the individual 18in tube... aim it out the back opening.. and the water pumps OUT the back. Done. I pump my old water into a bucket and then water plants with it. Also the light is white, not amber as it shows in the image. I did what another person suggested... I went to a local thrift store and bought a small amber colored shot glass... came home and put it over the little light in the first fountain well. Now it glows amber. This fountain is WONDERFUL and it fixes easy. REMEMBER: this fountain has been out in the elements, uncovered, in Southern California sunshine and blowing sand for 3 years and is still gorgeous. Great value and years of JOY.

Great looking fountain
But, it does have a few issues. It does splatter if you do not turn the pump flow down. If you try to overfill it, the water runs out the hole in the back. The screen they provide does help, but it changes the sound. It holds a lot of water, but the water is held in a reservoir below the screen and another solid surface.
