Hi
I would like to place two of these chandeliers in my kitchen over my 10ft island. The ceiling height is 10ft. Will it have enough cord to hang? Is the lighting sufficient over the island? The kitchen will have additional lighting in the ceiling.
Maricel C on Apr 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: With the included 6 feet of chain and 10 feet of wire, you will have plenty to hang from. Each light uses a maximum 60 watts and should be enough light for most. Would this be too small in a bedroom, 13.7 feet x 9.7 feet? thank you!
lauren b on Nov 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello - yes, this would fill the space, but it is 20" high, plus you'll need several inches of cord and chain to hang this from the canopy, so make sure it won't hang down into the room too far.
When hung, what is the minimal length this will hang from the ceiling? If it was hung close to the ceiling what is the length it would hang down from top to bottom? thank you!
lauren b on Nov 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello - this design is 20" high. The canopy is around an 1" high, plus you'll need two or three links of chain to hang the chandelier from the canopy. So figure a minimum hang height of 23" to 24".
Is this too small as the center piece of a 12x12 bedroom?
linda r on May 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Generally, by adding the rooms width and length would provide you the approximate width of the chandelier in inches. Also, depending on the height of the ceiling this maybe too long to walk under.
