BEST ANSWER: I have this mirror in a half bath and it looks beautiful with Carrera marble. I don't know how it would fare in a full bath with moisture from a shower. I love it!

Is the decorative framing around the edges made of metal or plastic?
Does it lie on the surface of the mirror or do the mirror pieces fit into the framing like stained glass would?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, the frame is constructed of MDF. The mirror sits inside the frame.
Is the metal shiny like chrome or more like brushed nickel?

BEST ANSWER: Yes! Very versatile in that it can be hung either horizontal of vertical. The hardware is on the back for easy installation. I have mine hung vertically over a Carrera marble sink which looks elegant and modern!

Really beautiful!
This is a stunning mirror and looks beautiful in our newly renovated master bathroom. We hung it horizontally and it fits perfectly over our 46" wide vanity.

Jewel Box Bath
I selected Carrera marble for a small half bath for the floor, walls to chair rail, and sink for an elegant look in my 1920s Tudor home. I selected this mirror for a bit of a fresh modern look that wouldn't detract from the classic style of our home. A small Schoenbeck chandelier's light is reflected from it, creating a lovely jewel box space. It's the one renovation where I wouldn't change a thing!
